The components from the Mama Elephant Slim Scenescape Builder and Mama Elephant Slim Scenescape Rainbow Add On were die cut from smooth white cardstock. The clouds and "snow" were lightly inked with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink. The "sky" background was inked with Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. The sky was spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer and allowed to air dry.
The sky, trees, and village were splattered with Gouache for a "snowy" look and allowed to air dry.
A greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Snowflake Edges was stamped on a die cut border created from a Mama Elephant Slim Scenescape Builder die using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The panel was adhered to the front of the box.
The Tim Holtz Dash Away All moon was die cut from SSS Gold Matte Mirror Cardstock and the stars die cut from SSS Silver Holographic Cardstock and adhered to the background night sky with liquid adhesive.
The box was assembled as shown and the sleigh, houses, clouds, and village were adhered to the box layers with clear acetate "picks". This gives the illusion of "floating" for the sleigh and clouds and supports the village pieces!
Hero Arts Icicle Glitter was adhered along the front of the snowy village for additional "snow".
A panel was secured to the back of the box card to complete the design.
