Happy Tuesday, friends! The Simon Says Stamp July 2022 Card Kit, You Shine is now available. Today I have a couple of beautiful cards to share with you using the components from the kit (this kit is SO good!). My goal for my SSS Card Kit videos is to show ideas with the kit only. Additional tools like dies, small embellishments, and sometimes extra greetings (like the small sentiment strip on the window box card) can be added but aren't necessary to duplicate these designs. Let's get started!

JULY 2022 YOU SHINE CARD KIT CARDS

The buffalo check Simple Stories Vintage Lemon Twist Paper was trimmed to 2 - 4" x 5 1/4" panels for both cards.
The Tim Holtz Idea-ology Window Frames Baseboards were used as a template for additional patterned papers from the kit to back each window frame.
For the lemon card, a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp You Shine Stamp/Die Set was stamped on the background paper with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The lemons from the stamp set were stamped on smooth white cardstock from the kit with Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:
Lemons: Y08, Y19, Y35, Y26, Y28, YR30
Leaves for Lemons: G21, G28
The images were die cut and adhered to the card as shown.
The Tim Holtz Ranger Gilded Distress Foundry Wax was splattered over the card and heat set for the gilded distress look.
The background was adhered to a white top fold card base and finished with a heart accent.
For the flower box card images from the the Simon Says Stamp You Shine Stamp/Die Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock from the kit with Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:
Yellow Butterfly: Y08, Y19, Y35, Y26, Y28, YR30
Leaves for Lemons: G21, G28
Teal Flowers and Butterfly: BG45, BG49, BG09
Butterfly Body: W6, W8
The images were die cut and adhered to the card as shown.
The Tim Holtz Ranger Gilded Distress Foundry Wax was splattered over the card and heat set for the gilded distress look.
Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp You Shine Stamp/Die Set and Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Birthday were stamped on smooth white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, die cut with Sentiment Labels dies, and adhered to the card as shown.
The background was adhered to a white top fold card base and finished with a heart accent.
