The Simon Says Stamp Egg Hunt 6x6 Stencil (included in the kit) was placed over a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of smooth white cardstock (included in the kit). A mask was created by die cutting a Simon Says Stamp Nested Egg Dies from Masking Paper. The mask was used with the Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers Pack of Ink Cubes (included in the kit) and Gina K Designs Blending Brush (one brush included in the kit). The mask allowed me to easily ink each egg with a different color for this beautiful background!
The panel was die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Basic Rectangles Die and adhered to a white top fold card base.
The Simon Says Stamp Little Chick Die was die cut from Simon Says Stamp Banana Cardstock (included in the kit) and shaded with SSS Lemon Zing Ink and Sunshine Ink. The face details were die cut from Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy Cardstock, Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Cardstock, and Hero Hues Papaya Cardstock. The die cut was adhered to the egg background as shown. Glossy Accents was added to the beak.
Simon Says Stamp Easter Wishes Sentiment Strips were adhered below the die cut with foam adhesive.
A matching envelope was stenciled using a white envelope (included in the kit).
I've really been loving simple stenciled envelopes lately! It gives that envelope a little somethin' somethin'! ;)
LITTLE CHICK GIFT BAGS
Products featured:
- Simon Says Stamp You Make Me Hoppy 6x8 Stamp Set
- Simon Says Stamp Little Chick Die
- 2" Yellow Pom Poms
- Simon Says Stamp Banana Cardstock
- Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy Cardstock
- Lawn Fawn 12x12 Perfectly Plaid Patterned Paper
- Mama Elephant Favor Bag Die
- Simon Says Stamp Nested Tag Dies
- Doodlebug Hippity Hoppity Mini Icon Stickers
- More supplies linked in the supply list at the bottom of this post
I was inspired by the 2" Yellow Pom Poms (included in the kit) to create something with dimension so I could showcase the pom pom on the Little Chicks! You can totally use these on a card, however, they will add significant bulk so I would recommend them for hand delivery or shipping in a padded envelope/box/etc.
My all time favorite gift bag is the Mama Elephant Favor Bag Die. Because the bag die is larger than 6x6 patterned paper I opted to use some of the brand new Lawn Fawn 12x12 Perfectly Plaid Patterned Paper. The plaids in this new collection work perfectly with the components in the kit!
The Simon Says Stamp Little Chick Die was die cut, inked, and assembled like the above card and adhered to the bag front. A 2" Yellow Pom Pom was hot glued to the belly of the chick for soft, fluffy dimension!
The smallest Simon Says Stamp Nested Tag Dies was die cut from Simon Says Stamp Banana Cardstock (included in the kit) and Bazzill Juicy Pear Cardstock (included in the kit). Hole reinforcers were die cut from smooth white cardstock (included in the kit) and adhered to the front and back of each tag.
Greetings from the Simon Says Stamp You Make Me Hoppy 6x8 Stamp Set (included in the kit) and Happy Easter Stamp Set were stamped on each tag using SSS Green Apple Ink and Sunshine Ink.
Each tag was finished with stickers from the Doodlebug Hippity Hoppity Mini Icon Stickers (included in the kit).
The tags were tied to the top of each bag with pretty organza ribbon.
