Currently I am doing a Friday morning Live at 9 am CT. I adding a once monthly evening Live (for now!). The first evening Live will be July 26, 2021 at 7 pm CST. Replays will be on my YouTube Channel.
I have a few requests to edit the Lives. Currently I am not going to edit them. This is for a couple of reasons:
1) Lives are new to me and we are going to stick with this format for a bit. I personally love Lives. I haven't watched an edited Live so I reserve the right to reconsider in the future if I think it's something I can fit in my schedule.
2) I don't want to spend the precious hours I have for creating new content, editing a Live. I will be bringing the exact same amount of traditional content and videos to my channel. Lives/replays are in addition to that content.
If you want to join us for some real-time crafty fun each week I would love to "see" you there. Please make sure to SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube Channel and click the notification bell so that YouTube alerts you when I'm going live. I am trying to reach 100,000 subscribers so if you haven't subscribed yet I would SO appreciate it! I am grateful for my community on all the platforms!
Thanks to everyone who joined me today (especially with the tech issues)! I had a blast visiting with everyone. ❤️
Today I'm sharing a couple of slimline cards featuring brand new stamps, dies, and stencils from the new release. I've paired these new layering stamps with some of my favorite Pinkfresh Studio inks for these sweet and pretty designs! I love the way the new slimline stencils add soft, subtle patterns to each card's background, and are the perfect backdrops to the Sweet Garden Birds Set, Sweet Garden Blooms Set, and XL Greetings 2!

The Simon Says Stamp Spring Window Stamp Set window and brick images (included in the kit) on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of watercolor cardstock (included in the kit) using Lawn Fawn Jellyfish No Line Coloring Ink and colored in with Watercolor Pencils. The pencils I used were included in a past SSS kit. THESE are the pencils I used. They are inexpensive and a great way to dip your toe into watercolor pencils! I lightly raced out the areas of the design and then blende out the color with a Medium Water Brush Pen.

Happy Saturday! Sorry for the long absence on my blog and YouTube Channel! I promise I've been working and I've got some incredible projects coming that I can't wait to show you, including these 10 toner printed foiled card designs! My cards today all started with the Cozy Vibes Acetate Sheets included in the November 2020 Card Kit of the Month (and available for individual purchase). I wanted to foil the sheets with the Autumn Deco Foil also included in the November Kit.

Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony Black and Dark Walnut were added to the eyes and noses of the cute foiled critters!
THANKFUL FOR YOU CARD
The Thanks and Leaves Acetate Sheet was foiled with Autumn Deco Foil in Rose Gold.
The foiled panel was adhered over a stamped Reverse Crackle Background I had leftover from another project! I love when I can make use of the odds and ends I have lying around!
White cardstock was die cut with a Drifting Stitches Border Die and a border was adhered to the top of the acetate panel and one to the bottom. Foam adhesive was placed behind the white cardstock areas so the panel could be "popper up" over the snowflakes.
A frame for the shaker was die cut from another Honey Bee Stamps Holiday Traditions patterned paper using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frame Die. The acetate panel was adhered to the back of the frame and then a layer of foam adhesive was placed around the back of the frame. The shaker was filled with snowflakes and then backed with the evergreen patterned paper.

Hello friends! Have you seen the newest Distress color from Tim Holtz, Crackling Campfire?!!! It is a gorgeous orange color perfect for fall and beyond! I'm sort of obsessed. Today I'm going to close out August with three easy Distress Oxide Backgrounds that I hope inspire you to play with your inks.
Don't forget that STAMPtember starts tomorrow, September 1st! Be sure to come back at 12 p.m. Eastern tonight for the STAMPtember Release and a video. Whoohoo!

Smooth white cardstock was adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive. The adhesive was also placed on the back of the Fun Foam. The Big Thanks Die was die cut from the dimensional sandwich and inked with Aged Mahogany and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Inks. The greeting was adhered to the "shadow" die cut from smooth white cardstock and adhered to the center of the design as shown.
The MFT Stamps Ghoulish Greetings Background was stamped on a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of smooth white cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Crackling Campfire and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks were applied over the inked area, blended, and the excess ink buffed away from the embossed areas. A Distress Sprayer was used to add oxidation to the and Gansai Tambi Starry Colors gold watercolor was splattered over the background for additional distressing.
A clear embossing ink pad was swiped on a scrap of smooth white cardstock and the Crackling Campfire Embossing Glaze was applied to the ink twice and heat set. The Boo! sentiment was die cut from the glazed cardstock and adhered to the top of two more die cut greetings for a bit of dimension. The greeting was adhered to the panel as shown. A Sentiment Strips Halloween greeting was trimmed into a thin strip and adhered with foam adhesive.
The Friendly Ghosts Die was die cut multiple times from smooth white cardstock. Circles were die cut from Black Licorice Cardstock and adhered behind the faces. The ghosts were adhered around the perimeter of the card with foam adhesive as shown. Any excess was trimmed away with scissors. I kept some of the tails and adhered them in open areas with liquid adhesive.
To easily trim the background so the design is centered I used a Basic Rectangles Die.
A Hexagon Greetings image was stamped on smooth white cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The greeting was inked with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink for embossed resist and adhered to the background with foam adhesive.
