I recently purchased a makeup collection from Colourpop Cosmetics that had the cutest packaging ever! It made me think that cute packaging is everywhere and it can be repurposed into cute tags, embellishments, etc.! I decided to turn some of my favorites into a this set of four tags!
One of the patterned paper was die cut with the snowflake and a circle die to make a frame. The circle and snowflake were die cut two more times from smooth white cardstock to add some dimension and strength to the snowflake.
A solid snowflake die cut from another patterned paper was stamped with "to/from" from the Simon Says Stamp Let's Make A Tag Stamp Set and adhered to the back of the snowflake tag.
The packaging was die cut with the circle die and the circle was placed in the center of the snowflake as shown.
A crop-a-dile was used to punch a hole and the tag was finished with Lawn Trimmings Twine.
Another part of the packaging was die cut twice with a Hero Arts Nested Tag Die. A hole reinforcer was die cut from red cardstock and glued to the top of each tag.
Twine was threaded through the tag as shown. Red ribbon was tied into a pretty bow on each tag to finish.

Currently I am doing a Friday morning Lives at 9 am CT. Replays will be on my YouTube Channel.
I have a few requests to edit the Lives. Currently I am not going to edit them. This is for a couple of reasons:
1) Lives are new to me and we are going to stick with this format for a bit. I personally love Lives. I haven't watched an edited Live so I reserve the right to reconsider in the future if I think it's something I can fit in my schedule.
2) I don't want to spend the precious hours I have for creating new content, editing a Live. I will be bringing the exact same amount of traditional content and videos to my channel. Lives/replays are in addition to that content.
If you want to join us for some real-time crafty fun each week I would love to "see" you there. Please make sure to SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube Channel and click the notification bell so that YouTube alerts you when I'm going live. I am trying to reach 100,000 subscribers so if you haven't subscribed yet I would SO appreciate it! I am grateful for my community on all the platforms!
Thanks to everyone who joined me today! I had a blast visiting with everyone. ❤️

The deer from the Pink & Main Deer Friend Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock with Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:
Hooves: E47, E49
Light parts of deer: E40, E43, R20
Dark parts of deer: E43, E44
Nose: R46
The deer was die cut with the coordinating Pink & Main Deer Friend Die and then die cut again from Lawn Fawn Chocolate Bar Cardstock. The deer was adhered back to front to make a sturdy tag and to hide any bleed through from the markers.
The Hero Arts Nesting Tag Dies hole reinforcer was die cut from Lawn Fawn Chocolate Bar Cardstock and adhered to the top of each tag.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony were used to accent the eyes. A red pom pom was used for the nose and the tags were finished with some Lawn Trimmings twine! (Some thin silk ribbon was tied around the necks of half of the reindeer).

Cardinal: Light Cadmium Red, Dark Red, Naples Yellow, Warm Gray VI, Cold Gray V
Snow: White, Sky Blue
Branch: Walnut Brown, Bistre
Pine Leaves: Earth Green, Chromium Green Opaque, White, Walnut Brown
Holly Leaves: May Green, Deep Cobalt Green
Berries: Walnut Brown, Permanent Carmine, Middle Cadmium Red
The ornaments were splattered with white gouache to mimic "snow". The eye was emphasized with a black gelly pen. The front of the tag was sprayed with a varnish (I used Krylon Varnish I picked up at Wal-Mart) or sealant like the Krylon Clear Coating to make the image permanent so it doesn't fade or smear.
The tags were finished with twine, ribbons, and bells!
