To create the background, I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Vine Background Die three times from the smooth white cardstock included in the kit and adhered each one to the Smoke Notecards also included in the kit.
The greetings were die cut with Simon Says Stamp Nested Ovals Dies and adhered to each card as shown by hiding liquid adhesive behind the embossed areas.
The butterflies were inked with Hero Arts Soft Olive and Charcoal inks for embossed resist and die cut before being adhered to the design with the foam adhesive squares from the kit.
The cards were finished with a scattering of heart accents.

Currently I am doing a Friday morning Lives at 9 am CT. Replays will be on my YouTube Channel.
I have a few requests to edit the Lives. Currently I am not going to edit them. This is for a couple of reasons:
1) Lives are new to me and we are going to stick with this format for a bit. I personally love Lives. I haven't watched an edited Live so I reserve the right to reconsider in the future if I think it's something I can fit in my schedule.
2) I don't want to spend the precious hours I have for creating new content, editing a Live. I will be bringing the exact same amount of traditional content and videos to my channel. Lives/replays are in addition to that content.
If you want to join us for some real-time crafty fun each week I would love to "see" you there. Please make sure to SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube Channel and click the notification bell so that YouTube alerts you when I'm going live. I am trying to reach 100,000 subscribers so if you haven't subscribed yet I would SO appreciate it! I am grateful for my community on all the platforms!

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing my ink swatches for the Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks plus a bonus butterfly canvas project! A few weeks ago I swatched all 60 of the Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks on the SSS Swatch Blanks with the SSS Swatch Stamps. I love this method of swatching my inks and find it so helpful when figuring out colors for a project. I labeled each swatch with the Brother P-Touch Label Maker and keep all the swatch on Binder Ring(s). In addition to the ink swatches I decided to share a fun home decor project that's been on my heart for awhile. I decorated a 10" canvas with a scattering of embossed and die cut Graceful Butterflies, each inked with a trio of Pawsitively Saturated Inks, added some Foundry Wax Gilded to the edges and glued them to the canvas. Keep reading and watch the video below for all the details!

For the 10" square canvas, I sprayed Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Spray, let it sit for a few minutes before taking a dry rag and swiping the ink into the canvas. I think a similar effect could be achieved (although, likely darker) with Distress Paint. Once dry, the canvas was splattered with white gouache and allowed to air dry.
