We have plenty of fun florals to color including a big, beautiful bloom and lovely girls relaxing in Peony Dreams (stamp, die, combo) illustrated by our new artist, Oana Befort. We also have soft and delicate flowers in the Be.You.Tiful You stamp set (stamp, die, combo) that make great wreaths and frames, illustrated by our new artist, Karla Jodoin. The Be Her stamp set (stamp, die, combo) designed by Big Bear & Bird features four of the cutest animals and tons of accessories to adorn them. The scripty font of Label Greetings (stamp, die, combo) is an elegant take on the popular label maker look and is a quick way to make perfect sentiment strips. The Little Fairies stamp set (stamp, die, combo), illustrated by Kamo, has fairies, flowers and a fountain for creating sweet garden scenes. Tiny Terrarium, (stamp) our 3x4 set this month, includes sweet foliage and a darling bunny perfect for spring. And the Diamond Texture Die (die) (by cardmaker JJ Bolton) is one of a series of dies designed to give more interest and depth to your card backgrounds.

Today I'm sharing a couple of magical-themed cards using three of the new stamp sets from the February Release: Be Her Stamp Set, Little Fairies Stamp Set, and Label Messages Stamp Set. I paired these stamped and die cut images with the previously released Rainbows Stamp Set, Rainbows Panel Die, and Rainbows Word Die from a previous release for the unicorn card. Soft stenciled cloud backgrounds in Cracked Pistachio are the perfect compliment to these stamped and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker colored images!
Both cards feature a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh jewels and Honey Bee Stamp acrylic hearts as finishing touches.
For the unicorn card, I stenciled a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of smooth white cardstock with Cracked Pistachio Ink and the MFT Stamps Mini Clouds Stencil. The Rainbows Panel Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock. The rainbow "rays" were inked with Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks before being inlaid into the cloud shape and secured to the stenciled background as shown.
Additional clouds from the Rainbows Panel Die were die cut from smooth white cardstock and adhered to the design. The Be Her Unicorn and wand were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, die cut with the coordinating Be Her Dies, and adhered to the design with foam adhesive.
The Rainbows Word Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive, inked with Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink, and adhered along the bottom edge of the panel. An additional sentiment from the Rainbows Stamp Set was stamped on Smoke Gray Cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder before being adhered to the design with foam adhesive as shown.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were applied to the wings, unicorn horn, star, and rainbow rays for a bit of sparkle.
The background for the birthday fairies card was created much like the unicorn card, only the clouds don't extend all the way to the bottom of the panel. I stopped about 1/4" from the bottom edge, leaving a white strip. The background was trimmed to 4" x 5 1/4" and stamped with the sentiment from the Little Fairies Stamp Set using Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink.
The Label Messages "beautiful" greeting and images from the Little Fairies Stamp Set were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, die cut with the coordinating Label Messages and Little Fairies dies, and adhered to the design with a combination of foam adhesive and liquid adhesive to build the scene.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in White Blizzard were applied to the fairy wings and some of the flowers for a bit of sparkle.
